Our Science Committee has oversight of ANZIC's scientific program, including setting criteria and assessing and ranking applications for expeditions, post-expedition support, legacy projects, training initiatives, and workshops.

The Science Committee: scientific oversight
As a member of the Science Committee, you will:
- evaluate and rank potential ANZIC participants in scientific drilling projects in accordance with program policies and guidelines
- refine criteria for ANZIC's post-drilling and legacy project support, and review and rank applications to ensure appropriate funding for these projects
- set criteria, evaluate, and rank applications for additional scientific funding opportunities provided by ANZIC (e.g., workshop travel or training opportunities)
- ensure effective scientific governance of ANZIC by participating in quarterly Science Committee meetings, yearly forums and by joining an ANZIC science sub-committee.
